T+R Studio was engaged to provide a more inspired + focused point of view for BioWeb new floor at their offices.
The new floor follows the latest international trends in the field of interior design and work organization. Employees can efficiently organize their work with the help of a flexible conference room booking system, teamwork areas, multiple rooms for phone calls and quick meetings, and spaces for individual work. Some meeting rooms can be transformed into a conference room for 100 people using the mobile acoustic partitions.
Architects reflected the essence of the credo in the interior of the new floor, guided by the main idea in it – caring for the person. Therefore, there are many solutions for space organization for the comfortable work of employees. For example, the layout of the office provides maximum access of sunlight to the room, and panoramic windows offer views of the nearby park. Workstations are equipped with lifting gears with electric drive, allowing you to adjust the height of the table for comfortable work, and ergonomic chairs. There were used environmentally friendly materials, and electronics have passed the ENERGY STAR certification. To ensure acoustic comfort customized acoustic panels with individual designs have been installed on every floor. Mint color is highlighted in the dining areas, as well as shades of lightwood. The green color is located both in greening and in interior details.
T+R Studio’s design focuses on enhancing three key areas of communal group experience – the moment of “welcome”, the time of convening and education, and the lingering, socializing, and sharing period within a comfortable internal “hub-kitchen- gathering spot”. The design explores the concept of structured office space blurring activity spaces with working spaces so that one feels liberated within a casual + social work environment. Other design characteristics include elements that are casual, comfortable, tactile, and eclectic. Entering the environment, one feels as if one is in an urban oasis that is global in scope yet feels close to home. The result is a more familiar + familial atmosphere for a worldwide audience.
